Every D. E. Williams shield comes with a lifetime guarantee. With the exception of the usual smoke and water stains, should your shield ever pucker, shrink, blister, peel, come un-stitched, fall apart, etc., just send me a photo of it and will replace it for FREE, and you can keep your original shield to put on your "Wall of Flame". I'm not saying you can't burn up one of my shields; it just takes a lot more effort to do so.

What we do differently:

• We are the only manufacturer that uses 100% leather helmet grade leather to construct our shields, not soft garment grade leather.

• Each shield has a sturdy 8oz. (1/8" thick) back piece and a 4oz. (1/16 thick) face piece.

• We sew every detail front to back to make the shield more rigid and to prevent puckering.

• The recessed panels or panel lettering are always reflective, at no additional charge.

• The lettering in our panels is screen printed onto the reflective material so that it bonds into the surface.

• Our center graphics are printed directly onto the leather, we do not use stickers.

What we don't do:

•We do not put a tin brace on the back of our shields. The quality of our leather and the fact that we stitch every detail front and back allows you to bend our shield to the desired shape and it will stay that way.

• We do not use stick-on letters on any part of our shields.

• We do not use cardboard or plastic fillers.
